#DayWithDonatella Contest Update

Here are some of my favorite entries to the #dayWithDonatella Contest so far! People are emailing, tweeting and facebooking how THEY use my HSN line in their own unique ways. Keep ’em coming! I’m loving the feedback. The winner will be announced at the end of November and will spend one day cooking and hanging out with me.

Day With Donatella

1. & 2. Lisa and her adorable daughter, Isabella made a homemade sauce from jarred tomatoes, fresh onions, and basil. Then they dropped my frozen meatballs in for 20 minutes to defrost before devouring.

“We say BUON APETITO! ‘But it’s my meatball,’ Bella said, and I said ‘No way, it’s mine…’We ended up eating a 5 lb bag between my hubby, Bella and myself! Success! They were outstanding! Juicy in the middle, just like Donatella said.” -Lisa


3.  Jess  submitted this picture of oatmeal raisin cookies going into my pizza oven. The cookies are from a mix, and she baked them according to the packaging.

“My oatmeal raisin cookies came out great in Donatella’s oven! It heats up so much faster than a regular oven, and the pizza stone created a slight crust on the bottom of the cookies while the top and middle stayed soft and gooey. So yummy! I can’t wait to see what else I can make in there.” -Jess

4. Erick used classic Kings Hawaiian dinner rolls to make little meatball sliders. Just 1/2 meatball, a sprinkle of parsley and parmigiano and it turns into a delicious snack!

5. & 6. Jim had a blast making homemade pies with my pizza oven and dough mixes. Some of his toppings included pepperoni, parmesan cheese, red onions, and mozzarella.
