For dough, beat butter & cream cheese in a bowl until light and fluffy. Add sugar, salt, & vanilla. Add the flour & beat until combined then place dough on a floured surface & roll into a ball. Dive dough into four pieces and refrigerate for 2 hours or ideally overnight.
Mix the first 4 filling ingredients in a bowl & set aside.
Take one piece of dough from the refridgerator and roll out into a circle. Spread 2 tbsp of preserve and then 1 tbsp of filling on the dough. Cut the dough into 8 pieces (like a pizza into 8 slices).
Roll the dough into crescent shapes & brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
